"Life sometimes takes us on an unforgettable journey. It may never be repeated, but it will always endure. A small but incredible horse came into my life unexpectedly and our bond gave each of us the strength, confidence and belief we needed. Toti was that horse and to this day I am humbled and inspired by his courage. Toti overcame a life-changing accident in his early years and against the odds he grew into one of the most successful show jumping horses in the world. I sensed a special connection with Toti from the beginning and this grew over time as our trust and understanding deepened. As a combination we excelled in our sport, but it was always much more than that.

Today his magical qualities and warrior spirit have inspired me to create the Toti collection of fine jewelry and the Foundation helping children and adults with disabilities through the power of equine therapy. Born on March 29th, 1974, Edwina Top-Alexander’s interest in equestrianism began in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, at the age of eight. Her neighbours owned a barn and seeing them ride at the weekend stimulated young Edwina’s interest in the sport. From a grounded upbringing, Edwina has gone on to become not only the most decorated Australian female equestrian athlete of all time but one of the highest-ranking female riders in the world with four Olympic Games to her track record and millions of Euros in prize money earned throughout her impressive career. 

In 1998 Edwina moved to Europe to pursue her goals. Married to Jan Tops (the renowned founder of Global Champions Tour) since 2011, Edwina has openly said that her husband is not only her biggest supporter but also the most important influence in her career. In 2017 Edwina announced her pregnancy in style... immediately after winning one of the most challenging Grand Prix events in the world - the Saut Hermès.  She now balances her career, motherhood and designing and creating fine jewelry inspired by her horse of a lifetime, Itot du Chateau, also known as TOTI.
